Centrosome Inc. was started back in 2001 as a technology sales and support company and over the years, with a short pause, has morphed into a one-stop shop aimed at supporting small to medium sized business owners. Having over 20 years of professional experience in a wide variety of small to large companies in many different industries, Kevin has gained incredible knowledge of which he shares with his clients every day.

In 2007, Kevin joined a colleague who started a dental practice management business and together they grew it to a $30M+ business with many locations across Canada. In 2015, the company was acquired, and they had a very successful exit. In 2016, Kevin completed his M.B.A. at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. He decided to fire up Centrosome Inc. again and change the focus of the company from just IT to be a one-stop shop for small business owners. Over the years, he noticed that many small business owners spent a lot of time working in their business instead of on their business and that one of the most daunting and time-consuming tasks was that of bookkeeping. Bookkeeping was usually the most forgotten and yet typically one of the first positions hired out for when the company was starting to take off. He knew there was a better way, so he took what he learned from managing multiple businesses and started to learn everything he could about the industry and the technology tools available to small business owners. The end result: make this task more efficient and allow small business owners access to full-time expertise at a fraction of the cost.

Bookkeeping and accounting services became a core service in 2017, offering a range of services and support to sole proprietors and small businesses in both Canada and the US. Understanding that not everyone knows exactly what services they need; the team works with clients to identify what will work most effectively.

Kevin and his team maintain current certifications and partner status with the majority of the major cloud-based accounting software providers. They are also constantly learning about the dynamic industry and partnering with many of the new SaaS (Software as a Service) providers out there geared towards making workflows better with technology.

With a strong background in technology, the company embraces technology and makes it easy for the everyday user. Focused primarily on cloud-based accounting solutions and workflows, they can advise you on which will work best for you.
